La propuesta fue presentada por el titular del holding en un encuentro del sector y contempla inversiones prioritarias para el sector de cargas y pasajeros.
El Presidente de Ferrocarriles Argentinos Sociedad del Estado (FASE), Damián Contreras, convocó hoy a todo el sistema ferroviario a generar una propuesta de ley para la reparación histórica ferroviaria y señaló que “esta ley permitirá garantizar las inversiones necesarias para el sector en lo que respecta a cargas y pasajeros y asegurar a mediano y largo plazo una planificación, sin que esos objetivos sean interrumpidos por la coyuntura política y encontrar los consensos básicos junto a todos los actores”.
Contreras se manifestó así durante el discurso de apertura de Latin Rieles, el congreso y exposición que se realizó en el predio del CENACAF, en el panel del que participaron además el Secretario de Transporte, Diego Giuliano; el Subsecretario de Transporte Ferroviario, Agustín Special; el Vicepresidente de Trenes Argentinos Operaciones, Darío Golía; el Vicepresidente de Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura, Rodrigo Álvarez; el titular de Trenes Argentinos Cargas, Daniel Vispo; y el Secretario General de ALAF, José Villafañe.
El titular de FASE señaló además que la mesa técnica operativa, integrada por representantes de las empresas ferroviarias estatales, representantes gremiales, de la CNRT y la Subsecretaria de Transporte Ferroviario trabajan en conjunto aportando su visión para apuntalar una política ferroviaria que cohesione a todos los sectores del sistema ferroviario nacional.
Asimismo, Contreras llamó a “promover la federalización nacional del ferrocarril” y agregó que el plan de reparación histórica “debe plantearse como una política de Estado que ayudará a generar la planificación de inversiones en infraestructura, señalamiento, material rodante y ayudará a recuperar y modernizar la red”.
“Es nuestro anhelo que la política ferroviaria se convierta realmente en una política de Estado y que integre a todos los sectores del sistema. Que podamos crear un proyecto de ley donde nos asegure el Congreso de la Nación la continuidad de esas obras, independientemente de los funcionarios que pasemos por el sistema ferroviario”, manifestó Contreras.
El titular del holding ferroviario enumeró además las acciones que viene realizando la firma estatal a través de las mesas técnicas para abordar distintas soluciones para el sistema. Al cierre de la primera jornada, el Centro Nacional de Desarrollo e Innovación Ferroviaria (CENADIF) realizará la presentación de sus últimos aportes al sector industrial que benefician al universo ferroviario.
