MTOP INICIA INVESTIGACIÓN POR NEGLIGENCIA DE OMNIBUS DE NOSSAR

Desde el MTOP se inició una investigación luego de que se difundiera el video de un ómnibus urbano de la empresa Nossar cruzando un Paso a Nivel con barreras bajas. Desde el Ministerio de Transporte se verifico con el centro de control ferroviario que, en el momento donde la unidad de transporte cruzó las barreras, la señal estaba activa y «en perfectas condiciones de funcionamiento».

Es así que el Director de Transporte Ferroviario Uruguay Graña, solicito a la empresa de transporte un informe, ya que las señales funcionaban correctamente al momento de la negligencia del conductor, que hace caso omiso a las señales que indicaban que no podía cruzar.

Desde la Unión Ferroviaria se expreso gran preocupación, dado que vecinos del lugar manifiestan fallas contantes en las señales ferroviarias de dicho Paso a Nivel, donde se origino el video.

«No quieren poner equipos de seguridad y el sistema no está 100% operativo, se están manchando las manos con sangre, arriesgando la vida de las personas y perjudicando a los trabajadores ferroviarios al someterlos a condiciones no seguras», denuncia el sindicato en un comunicado en el que responsabilizan al ministro José Luis Falero y al presidente Luis Lacalle Pou.

NOSSAR PIDE LAS DISUCLPAS CORRESPONDIENTES E INICIA UNA INVESTIGACIÓN SOBRE EL HECHO.

«Ante la reciente difusión en redes sociales de un video en el que se observa a un ómnibus de nuestra empresa atravesando las vías del Ferrocarril Central con las barreras bajas, desde Nossar queremos informar que nos encontramos trabajando en una investigación interna para esclarecer en detalle lo sucedido, dado que el accionar del conductor no representa los valores ni el compromiso de nuestra empresa con la seguridad vial y la responsabilidad en el tránsito. En este sentido tomaremos todas las medidas necesarias para garantizar que este tipo de hechos no se repitan», manifiesta la empresa de transporte en su comunicado.

El pasado 18 de Febrero, el ministro Falero en conferencia de prensa y luego de que en menos de 24 horas el Ferrocarril Central fuese el foco de dos accidentes, en donde en uno de ellos una persona perdió la vida,  manifestó que se tomaran medidas más drásticas para quienes no respeten las señales ferroviarias que alertan la aproximación de una formación.
